Jagged Edges 

I try and try 

to be gentle and kind, 

cause I 

Worship the ground where you walk

But , 

Sometimes I slide from Jekyll to Hyde, with no warning at all

I’ll never know why

and I’ll never know when

I just hope it’s a long time 

Before it happens again

like broken glass
